Community engagement - I’ll write your project engagement plan, what we heard report, and develop all necessary print and online material, social media content, and video scripts to fulfill the Plan. I can also administer your online engagement platform and help in many other ways.
Emergency and crisis communications - I develop emergency or crisis communication plans, workshops for leadership teams on crisis communication, and can support your emergency Information Officer during an EOC activation.
Back-up corporate comms employee - If your comms team is stretched or dealing with a planned or unexpected absence, I can step in and administer your social media platforms, engagement platforms, issue your news releases, and more.
Departmental optimization - Do you have a department that’s struggling? My process is to interview everyone on the team and colleagues from other teams and provide a report with steps needed to improve how the department functions. The process often includes team workshops to work through interpersonal challenges and improve communication.
Recruitment support - I have sat on many interview panels at the leadership level because of my perceptiveness and ability to ask good questions. If you’re hiring a communications or engagement professional, I can help from beginning to end by updating the job description, designing the interview questions and written assignment, and participating in interviews.
Policy development and jurisdictional scans - I’m a policy nerd and have created policies extensively in my career. I can support you in any aspect of policy scoping, development, or revision.
Bylaw development - Need a new bylaw? Need to revise an existing bylaw? I will support you through the whole process, and can even write the accompanying report to elected officials.
RFP development and evaluation - Struggling to pull together your RFP ? Give me your ideas verbally or in note form and I’ll turn them into an RFP for your review, complete with evaluation criteria. I also evaluate proposals based on the criteria and provide a scoring summary and recommendations.
